At Madrona Elementary School in Edmonds, WA, Gary Baxter Smith had a workshop with 9 students, planting an assortment of seeds including persimmon, chinese date, japanese hackberry, chinese parasol tree, the holly and the persian lilac. Then, before any other seeds sprouted, Sendan seeds sprouted. "Sendan compared with a peanut butter jar to give an idea of how big it already is!" ---Gary "One of my student's mom sent me this picture of their Sendan plant!" ---Gary Congratulations, Gary!
