Contemporary Landscape: Carol Lee of Paper Magazine and Blogger, Katy Hamer on Tree Project exhibition

Hiroshi Sunairi 's botanical show featuring installation and photographs is going to be wistful and uplifting. He has collected seeds of Hibaku trees, which are indigenous to Hiroshima and survived the bombings, distributed them to nearly 400 people around the world and kept up on their progress. Go to the full article at http://www.papermag.com/blogs/2009/12/spencer_sweeney_hiroshi_sunair.php Hiroshi asked me to participate in the Tree Project and I've been growing a Roundleaf Holly , which is the only one to have sprouted in the project! The plant (although teeny tiny) will be on view along with the other trees. Hope to see you there! http://eyes-towards-the-dove.blogspot.com/2009/12/hiroshi-sunairi-leur-existence-tree.html
