"I planted 4 Chinese Parasol seeds on May 30. I had no results and on June 24, I dug up the seeds (which are quite hard) and nicked them with nail clippers. I then soaked them in warm water for 1 hour and replanted. This is what I do to other hard seed with great results. All four sprouted within 10 days."
