本日は東日本大震災と福島第一原発事故から５年目のメモリアルデーです。この日に、NYの砂入博史さんによるTree Projectの柿の木の雪囲いを外しました。今年は雪が少なく、数日前に雪は消え、今後の寒波でどっさりと降る事はあり得ないです。保護用の囲いを外しても大丈夫となりました。この柿の木は広島の被爆柿の木の子孫です。平和のメッセージを秘めている柿の木です。ぐんぐん伸びてほしいです。

本日は広島原爆忌です。我が家にあるNYの砂入博史さん のTree Projectの柿の木の今の姿です。５月頃の嵐の後一 部の葉が枯れ落ちてどうなるか心配したのですが、また新 しい葉を出そうとしています。安心しました。写真を良く 見て下い。 世界平和を祈ります！！安保法案反対！！

昨年鉢植えから地面に下ろした柿の木です。赤く紅葉しな い間に散り始めました。一年かけて根が張ったはずなので 、来年は大きく伸びてくれるのではと念じています。

After a few years, I looked at her photographs and other documentary photographs, I realized one thing: there was a beautiful blue sky over New York. There was also a beautiful blue sky over Hiroshima on August 6, and over Nagasaki on August 9, 1945, when atomic bombs were dropped on these Japanese cities. The blue sky was the backdrop of historic human follies, again and again. Above the clouds, there is the blue sky that envelopes the Earth. 「ＮＹ在住の砂入さんのツリー・プロジェクトで種が送られてきたには6月。7月に柿の芽が出た。その後丁寧に世話しつつ育ててきた。 紅葉 は室内で育ててきためか遅く、最近ようやく黄色から橙という感じである。また四枚の葉のうち、小さな一枚は飛んでいってしまって今は三枚しか付いていない。 今、砂入りさんのＴｒｅｅＰｒｏｊｅｃｔの個展（グループ展）がＮＹで開かれている。私のところの柿の芽が出た頃の緑鮮やかな写真も関連して展示されているようである。今日は、この橙色の柿の写真を掲載してその個展へのメッセージとしたい。センダンと青桐はまだ芽が出てきません。もうだめのようですが春まで水をくれ続けてみます。」 −−−堀川道夫 http://d.hatena.ne.jp/niigata-art226/20091212/1260594326

I have sent Persimmon, Chinese Parasol Tree and Sendan seeds to " The 4th Blue Sky Project: An International Exhibition--Love, Blue Sky, and Peace". It is the 4th exhibition this year based on art that can be send in mail and internet. I have sent these seeds to Mr. Michio Horikawa who is an organizer of this exhibition so he would plant the seeds, hoping that by the time of the exhibiton, these seeds would sprout. Thus, these seedlings would be donated to people who come to the exhibition. Mr. Horikawa had wrote about receving the seeds in his blog with extensive pictures. Here are some of the pictures.
