Tautsuo Miyajima's Kaki Tree Project

An artist, Tatsuo Miyajima has been conducting a project, Kaki Tree Project. Kaki Tree Project is similar to my Tree Project by planting the seedlings of Persimmon (Kaki) to different places of the world. These Kaki Trees are grown from the seeds that survived the atomic bombing of Nagasaki. His project holds events such as public planting ceremonies with singing and dances and often works with institutions, NPOs, parks and schools.

In that way, Miyajima's Kaki Tree Project is different from my Tree Project since I distribute seeds to individuals for their pleasure of growing trees. Take a look at Kaki Tree Project site. It is very beautiful.
