Hiroshi I just send photos my greenhouse coach suggest me to gently place away the sprouts one from each other, so their roots do not get entangled I do so very gently, and they seem to like it very much is amazing, all the little leaves that are flourishing, also how these sprouts are so green bright at the sunlight  kind Alberto

THE HAPPY, HAPPY END 25 - Alberto and new Hibaku seeds in Argentina

Alberto, I will get back to you once I send the pic to Dr Horiguchi and see what he says. Persimmon and ginkgo look kind of different from this pic. Alberto, Dr thought also the same thing. They are neither Persimmon or Ginkgo. He thinks it also doesn’t look like Chinese Hackberry and I agree with him as I have grown it and it had large leaves,  https://images.app. goo.gl/ncY8ZYnVahALfhW99 However, he thinks that maybe since Argentina has different weather, hackberry may have transformed themselves. He has never seen this kind of tree in.Japan. Let’s see more pictures when it grows more. Best, Hiroshi Sunairi sunairi.wordpress.com

THE HAPPY, HAPPY END 24 - Alberto and new Hibaku seeds in Argentina

Dear Hiroshi sprouts keep growing , so we will keep it together,  and we really think we have to keep it this way  until we plant the little tree on earth next year kind Alberto Shin Ai Naru Hiroshi,  I think the tree sprouts are from seeds of these type of  tree, there were seeds in your envelope the leave is long , not as the gingko leave that  opens in a square shape I have a look at samples of leaves of Chinese hackberry ( scientific name : celtis sinensis ) and they look quite alike  They are growing beautifully Kirei desu ne!! kind alberto

THE HAPPY, HAPPY END 23 - Alberto and new Hibaku seeds in Argentina

Hi Sunairi SAN I am very happy to report that we have three seeds happily growing in the pot. I think I will leave them together until is time to transfer them to a bigger pot. Today I will make consultation with my greenhouse supplier,  he is a very kind man that knows a lot about seeds and little sprouts like these 3 Since you send ( very generously ) a lot of seeds, I am not sure to whose species these 3 seeds belong, this is also something I like to consult with greenhouse man. But, since the the seeds have at first place two little leaves gingko alike, I think they are gingko. If everything goes ok, this three gingko will be planted together next 2020 :=)  will keep reporting !! kind

Dear Sunairi friend sorry not to report before on the seeds, but they stay dormant , due to winter time now in Buenos Aires is springtime and we see that there are three sprouts blossoming  we think they are seeds from Chinese hackberry, we hope they keep going, will report you each week now :) KIND ALBERTO

THE HAPPY, HAPPY END 22 - Alberto and new Hibaku seeds in Argentina

Dear Hiroshi comments on improvement of seeds 1) the seed of Chinese hackberry that started to sprout inside the envelope, keeps going onwards 2) and now, one of the seeds of persimmon has produced a root and is growing also :) I will consult today with my greenhouse advisor, since I think is already time to put in earth this persimmon seed, the root is very large, white , and is changing to green at the top, so I think soon will start to make photos and will be better for the seed to be in earth  kind alberto
