tree project

Planted on April 1st, 2014. Expected to sprout this month. Will update on the progress. ---Satomi

「ＮＹ在住の砂入さんのツリー・プロジェクトで種が送られてきたには6月。7月に柿の芽が出た。その後丁寧に世話しつつ育ててきた。 紅葉 は室内で育ててきためか遅く、最近ようやく黄色から橙という感じである。また四枚の葉のうち、小さな一枚は飛んでいってしまって今は三枚しか付いていない。 今、砂入りさんのＴｒｅｅＰｒｏｊｅｃｔの個展（グループ展）がＮＹで開かれている。私のところの柿の芽が出た頃の緑鮮やかな写真も関連して展示されているようである。今日は、この橙色の柿の写真を掲載してその個展へのメッセージとしたい。センダンと青桐はまだ芽が出てきません。もうだめのようですが春まで水をくれ続けてみます。」 −−−堀川道夫 http://d.hatena.ne.jp/niigata-art226/20091212/1260594326

I have sent Persimmon, Chinese Parasol Tree and Sendan seeds to " The 4th Blue Sky Project: An International Exhibition--Love, Blue Sky, and Peace". It is the 4th exhibition this year based on art that can be send in mail and internet. I have sent these seeds to Mr. Michio Horikawa who is an organizer of this exhibition so he would plant the seeds, hoping that by the time of the exhibiton, these seeds would sprout. Thus, these seedlings would be donated to people who come to the exhibition. Mr. Horikawa had wrote about receving the seeds in his blog with extensive pictures. Here are some of the pictures.
