Dear Hiroshi! Amazing how the sprout is growing, each two days a new leaf appears! There photos are from yesterday Sunday September 3 rd 2017, I measured the height of the ginkgo from the earth level, 18 cm. Kind alberto Hiroshi It keeps growing, each two days, a new little leaf, and goes upwards...!!! The two other seeds are still sleeping, we will wait! Kind alberto Hi Hiroshi All onwards with the gingko sprout, this coming Saturday sept 23rd we will take it to our greenhouse coach/ counselor, to help us to put the sprout in a larger pot, since the sprout is already 20 cm high, and the pot is 15 cm Deep, so we think it will be better to move the sprout to a larger pot, to be more confortable the roots to expand Kind Alberto

Hi Hiroshi, Thanks for your recommendations re; Hiroshima :) I think I saw my little guys papa while I was there. What a truly magical and special place, I will go back again, next time for a longer period of time. I really, really loved it there! I also went to Miya-Jima (Miya Island), I will go back there as well, during the evening when all of the tours have left. Peace, Steve.

Hi Hiroshi!!! Here are two pictures I took today! This first tree has been under a grow light! It was just a stem for over 1 1/2 years!!!!! Now it is BEAUTIFUL! So now you can tell people that, yes! the gingko trees are deciduous and lose their leaves every fall.......only to come back in the spring with enough light! This second tree you sent me a seed last year that was sprouted and it grew about 4 leaves and in the fall all the leaves fell off. But today you can see that it is sprouting in just natural daylight! Both trees are in the same window, but the first is under the grow light! I am sooooo excited and wanted you to see my trees!
